VINYL APPLICATION TIPS

Think of your vinyl lettering or stickers in 3D

1 The top layer - or transfer tape through which you can see your letters or sticker.

2 The middle layer - which are letters or stickers in the colour of our
choice.

3 The bottom layer - white shiny backing paper.

(If your order has been despatched in a tube please press the vinyl sheet flat before proceeding with instructions)

Position your vinyl sheet on the wall or surface to be applied to & secure with masking tape. This acts as a hinge for the project. You should be able to see the lettering or sticker through the top layer.

Flip the lettering sheet upward and slowly peel of the bottom layer. Let the lettering or sticker rest on the transparent top layer.

(If the lettering wants to stick to the backing tape, slowly manipulate the backing to help the lettering stick to the top layer).

Use some kind of hard but gentle edge - (a lolly stick is ideal and I have enclosed one with your order) and firmly rub over the transparent top layer to secure the lettering or sticker to the wall or surface. On big areas work from the centre out on both sides.

Then carefully peel off the sticky top layer to reveal your letters or stickers.

When it comes to removal of your vinyl - the heat from a hairdryer will help to soften the vinyl and make it easier to peel off.
